Spaceship.com recently launched a new Marketplace section, and as NamePros has given me the go-head, I think the company deserves its own thread for NP domain marketplace users to converse in.

https://www.spaceship.com/sellerhub/

Personally speaking, I will be setting up a new Spaceship.com account this weekend and going to work investigating its various features, options and policies.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

I noticed the Statistics are in descending order....much better! By the way, I'm enjoying the stats. Particularly like seeing the country of origin.
BOOM! Statistics are sortable! Cheers!

I like the inclusion of NameCheap search queries.

@Marina Savina Any chance of getting a larger area to type our replies to offers? I like to proofread what I wrote before sending it to the buyer, but it's difficult to read the entire message.

Thanks for the suggestion. At this point it's not in the nearest priorities. I have passed the feedback, but I would also recommend to request via our feature request option on the website.

This is sad! It is not your priority, but the crypto market is open to current, and I think it is really important. It will limit only BTC crypto investors.

In addition, some special characters in other languages prevent the sending of bids. In other words, if some characters are not found in English, there is no action if they try to send an offer. This needs to be solved.

Thank you!

Hello everyone and @Marina Savina ,

I recently started to use Seller Hub, and I am liking it so far. However, something happened today. I was pretty sure that last time I checked yesterday, my listed-for-sale domain count was 70 domains. Yet, today it read 69. Nothing under Sold (sadly), nor had I removed any domain from that list -in fact, today I continued adding some more.

I checked with my registrars, and domains are all still in my accounts with them, fortunately. Still, I wonder what happened, but cannot tell because I don't know which domain name might have been on the list yesterday and is not there today. I guess it was a glitch, but this has prompted me to do something I am used to, as a routine: downloading the file with the domains I have listed on each marketplace.

Surprisingly, I could not find any way to do that on Seller Hub. Neither could I use the "Print" option on my browser, because the list is embedded and cannot be captured completely.

Therefore, could you please kindly add this possibility to Seller Hub? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the suggestion. This is already planned and will be picked up by the team in the nearest time, so stay tuned. If you would like us to also have a look at the missing domain reason, please PM your username or account ID to me.

Thank you very much! I'll definitely stay tuned, I love the perspective and insights provided by the visual presentation of stats, especially with the inclusion of Registrars' search numbers.

Thanks again, all the best for the project!

@Marina Savina

The Statistics tab in SellerHub offers great metrics, thanks.

Would you consider adding those figures to the Domains overview when clicking into domain details?

Can someone please try this?

If you have names listed on Spaceship that are NOT using Spaceship's DNS (so, not using Spaceship's landers but your names ARE listed there)...

Can you pretend you're a potential buyer by opening an Incognito window (Ctrl/shift/N) and going to Spaceship.com then search for one of your names that are listed on Spaceship. It should be the first result with a Make Offer button on the right side.

Now, click on Make Offer... fill out the pop-up form by USING A DIFFERENT EMAIL ADDRESS (to pretend you're a buyer, not yourself), and click on Submit.

Did it work? Did you receive the lead? Or did you get a (very quick) error message pop-up in the top right corner and never receive the lead?

Thanks in advance to whoever tries this. If there IS an issue with the Make Offer lead system, it will affect all of us.

I and my colleague tried this with different domains and we received leads, though the interface indeed showed an empty pop-up message to me at the end. Already passed this to the team to check. If you receive the error in the top right corner, it's very likely that the system sees that you try to make an offer for your own domain. If you can share your domain to check or your account id we can look at the issue in more details.

Just to clarify I got it right, you would like to go to SellerHub > Domains and upon click on the domain see the stats in the side panel?

I just tried the same test on a completely different device -- one that has no idea who I am or that I have an account with Spaceship -- and the same thing happened. The error message appeared and I didn't get the lead.

I'm not trying to fix it so it works for me (or for my account) I'm trying to fix it so it works for potential buyers.

I understand this, however as we do not receive similar feedback from other users and do not see the similar error when checking, the example will be very helpful to identify the issue.

If external listed domain expired at registrar and still listed at spaceship, can system detect it and delete it automatically from spaceship or user should remove it manually ?

@Marina Savina
At this moment, the user should remove them manually. We though will add an automated removal in the future.

Just make sure these domains are actually fully expired and registerable in the wild, not just past the expiry date and in grace period.

Looks promising. I really like the idea of another marketplace that actually works for everyone like Afternic. Sedo and Atom have been graveyards for me, hopefully Spaceship can deliver on a large scale.

Atom's 35% comission sounds like a joke at this stage.
Add the 25% discount they offer, you barely earn any money at all if you add tax. I will leave my names there at 7.5% anyway, probably buried somewhere by the block low commission sale algorithms 😂
