Spaceship.com recently launched a new Marketplace section, and as NamePros has given me the go-head, I think the company deserves its own thread for NP domain marketplace users to converse in.

Personally speaking, I will be setting up a new Spaceship.com account this weekend and going to work investigating its various features, options and policies.

I've got a major issue. No incoming links to domain names for sale doesn't make any sense to me. This was from Spaceship support chat a few minutes ago (abbreviated for clarity):

Me: I'm looking for a sales landing page for a domain name already for sale on Spaceship. ​

Spaceship: Currently, Spaceship's "For Sale" pages are only accessible by visiting the domain name directly, after it's been pointed to our marketplace DNS records.​

Me: So I can't point to a domain name for sale on Spaceship from anywhere on the internet? Why not?​

Spaceship: We do not offer public URLs or centralized listing pages (e.g., spaceship.com/yourdomain.ai) that can be shared externally or linked to from other websites.​

Thank you, Particle. I'm glad to see someone else asking for this. I have also asked for the ability to deep link to a name's for sale page on Spaceship. This is easily #1 on my wish list. I understand that not everyone wants or needs this but I do.

Yeah, #1 here too.

I have domains parked elsewhere being monetized, and I can easily link to a sales landing page from there. I already do that on other sites with higher commissions and would like to take advantage of lower sales commission rates.

It seems you have to demonetize domains and lose all the traffic data in order to sell them on Spaceship. Killing off the two most valuable data sets used to sell a domain in order to sell a domain doesn't make any sense.

Thanks. That would work, if it didn't also produce a list of cheaper domain names for sale (that I don't own).

Hello again, you likely only make crypto payments in Bitcoin. Could you add Tether (USDT), which is pegged to the dollar, to this option? Please consider this. Thank you.

Yep, the basic sorting of the columns is in progress. Should be added very soon.

I noticed the Statistics are in descending order....much better! By the way, I'm enjoying the stats. Particularly like seeing the country of origin.

1. When we receive an offer, I see that it tells us the buyer's full name. Does the buyer see MY full name when I reply to their offer?

2. I tried to test the Make Offer system using a different name and email address (hoping to answer my 1st question) but when I click on Submit Offer I get a small red pop-up in the top right corner that says "Error creating lead" -- and I never received the offer. Is the system down, or is this a bug, or ??

Thanks for the suggestion. At this point it's not in the nearest priorities. I have passed the feedback, but I would also recommend to request via our feature request option on the website.

Because I have a unique first name I would rather not display it to just anyone who makes an offer. If I change my first name in my profile will it affect anything? (like getting paid correctly by wire transfer?)

Something is definitely wrong. Now I can't even attempt to make an offer. When I click on Make Offer*** I get a small red pop-up in the top right corner that says "Error creating lead" and then quickly goes away.

*** Note that my domains are listed on Spaceship but the DNS is not pointing to Spaceship. So the offer is made after someone searches for the exact-match on Spaceship.

We will be requesting wire transfer details additionally if you decide to use this option, so should not be an issue.

it would still be best to DM a domain name to me to check.
