Spaceship.com recently launched a new Marketplace section, and as NamePros has given me the go-head, I think the company deserves its own thread for NP domain marketplace users to converse in.

https://www.spaceship.com/sellerhub/

Personally speaking, I will be setting up a new Spaceship.com account this weekend and going to work investigating its various features, options and policies.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Btw, it's possible to remove the domains in bulk from the Sellerhub now. Just select the domains and use Remove the domains option from the bulk side panel.
Hi, this is not convenient if I have a list of domains. I'd like to simply paste these domain into a search field, and take actions on that subset of domains.

Fully understand this. Asked the team whether we can add bulk search faster.

A big idea comes true.

I deleted a domain 60 hours ago from Spaceship marketplace and it's still showing as available to purchase at NameCheap.

Some of my recent experiences with spaceship, and the various problems I encountered after selling domain names.
1. There is no installment plan for the time being.
2. There is no login page in other colors.
3. I cannot download my domain name list on sellerhub, so I don’t know which domain names are sold normally.
4. There is no page for setting up payment methods after the domain name is sold, and I can only limit myself to talking to support bot.
5. After the domain name on sellerhub is transferred from spaceship to other registrars, it cannot be displayed as sold normally. This problem has not been solved yet, which is really a waste of time.
6. After other investors sell the domain name, if the domain name has been published on sellerhub before, the current owner cannot add it to sellerhub again, and even cannot be transferred from other registrars to spaceship. This is crazy.

I'm switching to Spaceship with my 3.3k domains. However, there seems to be a certificate issue. Half of my domains won't open on my computer. I use Kaspersky, and Kaspersky is giving me a certificate error. Please resolve this as soon as possible. I can't access most of my domains.

No user who sees this error will trust Spaceship, and unfortunately, they won't buy domains! This is a very serious error and must be resolved immediately.

The Kaspersky error is as follows:

"Visiting an untrustworthy website has been blocked

One or more of this website's certificates are invalid, so we can't guarantee its authenticity. This happens when the website's owner hasn't updated the certificate in time, or if it's a fake site created by scammers. Visiting a website like this makes you more vulnerable to attack."

Provisioning TLS certificates for your domains typically takes a bit of time, no matter the marketplace or platform.

I've updated the nameservers for 900 domains so far, and half of them aren't working, and those were done two or three days ago.

This wasn't the case for Dan.com or Afternic.

I assume you have 0 stats unless you point your DNS to Spaceship?

Is the sale commission always 5% even if you don't point your DNS to Spaceship?

Would you please share the example of the domain that does not work? I will ask the team to check asap.

I've already emailed your team about this. I also offered a few other suggestions:

The title says "For Sale Page." Instead, you could use the domain name.

Have you tried accessing the domain in another browser in private mode? Or via https://browserling.com/ ? Also, flushing local dns can help

Windows Terminal:
ipconfig /flushdns

Mac Terminal:
sudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder

That being said, it does take longer on Spaceship to resolve properly compared to Afternic / Atom / Dan

Hi Marina!

Thanks for all your attention!

I wanted to ask if it would be possible to make the statistics sortable by column or possibly the default display could be in descending order based on traffic?

Thanks again

Yep, the basic sorting of the columns is in progress. Should be added very soon.

We have flat 5% commission and you do not need to point to our DNS to see the statistic, but at the moment statistic is only available for the For sale page, thus you need to set it on the domain.

All great but literally lost a xxxxx deal because they dont have LTO, and after that buyer got cold feet. Hopefully @Spaceship adds LTO and the buyer comes back lol!

Yes, LTO is indeed required. Are you thinking about this?

Remember, the more companies listen to their customers, the faster they grow...

@Marina Savina Two suggestions today. Thanks.
  • Redesign the SellerHub portfolio overview to occupy less vertical space per listing (both on desktop and mobile)
  • Enable 'infinite scrolling' in SellerHub portfolio overview to auto-fetch additional domains without manual pagination

Definitely something we plan to add. LTO is next in line, so stay tuned.
