I am interesting in selling songleaf.com website and domain. It's an mp3, video, and lyrics search site. The domain is PR1.

The site gets around 250 uniques a month from search engine and type in traffic (it was getting more the previous months because of advertising). It has a great logo and the script works fine. The site ranks #1 for itself and has been known to rank #1 for the occasional song search term.

One handy feature of the site is the ability for the user to add songleaf search to his or her list of search engines on the search bar. This has been tested and works in firefox 3. Not tested otherwise, but it is assumed to work fine in most browsers, especially since the method I used was designed for firefox 2 / IE.

Another nice feature is the bookmarking button.

Where do you get the songs from?

I tried "Fall Out Boy" and none of the links I tried actually worked. Does it need updating / can it be updated?

The songs are pulled from other search engines. Some search engines have a tendency to return broken links. In RARE cases you will only have results that come from 2 or 3 search engines, and they all return broken links.

Most of the time, if you try different engines, you will find a link that works. A newer version of the script is available with login features and playlists, but since this script is custom hacked, you will not be ale to just update it at the touch of a button. Also, the script seller does not provide free updates that I know of. And it's like $30.

I did check fall out boy, and many of the links do appear to be broken. I will say that I have used the site many times to find songs. In some rare cases, songleaf will have a song that skreemr does not.

So, basically, if you buy this site, the best idea is to build backlinks and increase traffic so that you can start some advertising. You're paying for a domain that gets traffic and just happens to have a site on it with a nice logo. Oh, and you get the site and the logo.
