Someone tried to sell my 5ft.com!!

Someone tried to sell my Domain!!

Just recieve an email from a know domain investor regarding a transaction request to sell my 5ft.com for $95.00.

I will not post this info from the buyer as he is the victim here but the scammer is
[email protected]

I sent my provider an email of the incident and sent the scammer a nice message!

The buyer was smart to ask for confirmation from the Whois address first and
forward it to me.

So you are trying to pull a fast one eh? THEIF! Your trying to sell a domain that is not yours!

Tell him you definitely want to buy. You'll send payment immediately. All you need is his bank acc number, ssn, date of birth, home address and a faxed copy of passport, drivers license or birth certificate.

Gave me a nice laugh there.

You can never be to careful when doing business on the internet. It is a real shame the level of fraud that goes on. Makes me wonder how bad click fraud really is. If people are willing to steal money like this there must be no stopping them from click on ads and such. It really is a shame.
