After seeing sales of various Wiki names recently including Wiki.com for nearly $3 MILLION, I'm simply puzzled. Is it merely because of Wikipedia that Wiki names are seeing all the value they are or what? I mean at least terms like blook and blog originate with some meaning...the only meaning wiki seems to mean is to look something up on Wikipedia. Is that seriously where all this has come from?
It all seems a little too loony to me...it would be like if "Goog" became a power domain word because of Google.
Edit: Okay, I now see what exactly it means, but even still, close to 3 MILLION dollars for Wiki.com? That is absolutely nuts!
