Hi there guys,

So I feel that this forum is a bit picky on domains and wanted to see if theese 3 domains would please more users in helping out with an estimate/appraisal then.

1. Madeira.Surf - One of the better surf areas in the world.

2. Madeira.Rentals - Madeira is a popular vacation area and seems to start growth in younger people as well as a vacation destination.

2. soi.one - Was planning a Thai news website, but never got to it.

Anyways, hope these domains (got a bunch of more Madeira domains) can gain some interest in helping out with an appraisal here? Maybe? .. =)

Ok this is getting a bit silly... In fairness he said he been doing this, Ie domaining, since the 90's, he never restricted it to extensions such as .one etc

That said, you can't ask for a value and get upset when someone sees no value! And try and suggest the person who values it at zero has little knowledge. Anyone who plays this game knows it's incredibly subjective as to the value! Simply What a domainers would pay v end user, can be miles apart.

As for your original post, personally I don't think I could sell them, but different people have different niches! I do think Madeira.Rentals could do well with a domainer who has contacts in that field. Realistically, to get anything above reg fee values, you would have to sell to end users, as other domainers wouldn't pay much for them - hence the values given so far on this thread.

maybe you missed it.. but he did say he sold SIMILAR ones..

so I just wanted to ask which ones.. I like .one extension.. and am just curious to find out what was selling in it in 1990s... this info can help me. there is nothing silly about any of this.

If you do not know about the market, don´t make an appraisal answer to someone.

Ask the person who said it... If I was to speculate, I'd guess similar in his perception of quality, industry / niche etc
