.mobi SocialBookmarks.mobi

I wasn't planning on registering any more .mobi's than my original artes.mobi and broadcaster.mobi, but with the overwhelming popularity of digg, etc., I thought this would be a good investment. The open source clone of digg, "Pligg", has a big following, and some of its members are working on a mobile version, so I think if I were to help that along, I could make this my first .mobi site.

I know, socialbookmarks.mobi is a little long, but it definitely fits the .ext, don't you think?

I think its very long , not really a good combo , and doesn't really fit the ext well , sorry

I think it fits the extension. Social Bookmarking is one of the most popular ways of getting your link out to the masses. There are .mobi directories popping up, but as far as I know, no one has made a .mobi digg-style site yet.

I have some shorter brandable names in mind when it comes time for development. For now, I'd appreciate a few more comments.

I'm one of the few who's been preaching any type of site once developed may have value. It seems there are more people seeing things this way lately. It just makes sense -- Will I not read up on antioxidants while on the bus/train/plane? Why the heck not?

Right on! Mobi is for whatever. If you could put your pc in your pocket and take it with you wherever you went I think you would. In the end it is internet access on the go ( complete access ), not just a portion.
