So you heard that there was a sellout of LLLL.com's, so you went crazy and bought YZQK.com ZQKV.com or maybe ABCD.com or any other combination of letters and you felt so content for about 30 minutes, then it hit you, I don't own any good LLLL.com domains, what do I do now?

You could try to re-pawn them off for a profit of one to two dollars per domain (which is doubtful since the flood of domains) OR you could stick to your guns and wait it out. The only way the value of low quality LLLL.com's will go up, is the flood of sales begin to decrease and the names start to be developed.

The problem is that many domainers own 50+ of these domains, which is fine, but if they do not begin to develop the domains, they will always just sit on the market and cause the flood to never stop.

When 1 of these domains is developed (off the domain market) the value of every other LLLL.com increases. But what if you don't know any xHTML or PHP, and more importantly your electric bill is coming up,w hat do you do?
Research possible acronyms or businesses with names that are related to your domain!

Let's say that I own ADBD.com and I look around and find that there is a company that owns: AdvancedDivingBoardDesign.com, that would be a perfect match for my domain. See not only have you unloaded the domain, you have also found an end-user who will be willing to pay more than the reseller value.

However, if you have no rush for cash and you do know how to develop websites, by all means, start developing them. (look at xkcd.com, an otherwise $50 domain)
Just my two cents

.US domains.US domains
This sounds like a really great idea and I happen to have one 4L in both .com and .net that happens to also be the acronym of a billion (yes billion) dollar company in the midwest, but the the thought of emailing them out of the blue saying "hey look what I got" scares me. What if they think I'm some kind of scammer just looking to make a fast buck off their good name and they threaten me...err something like that.

Develop it into an unrelated website, that way they have no shot of ganking your domain

Great advice. I've posted few weeks ago about the same and someone said, "we are domainers and not developers". Well my advice would be to evolve and make more money rather than $1 or $2 like Bobby stated.

I've developed few of my LLLL dot coms (approx 20) with this similar theme.

http://www.sqsv.com

This was a trial and now the site is making me few dollars a day through Adsense and is indexed on google more than 9000 pages.

Instead of selling this domain for $50, I think I can sell it for much higher and I may not have to.

What do you think SQSV.COM is worth today?

I agree that finding an acronym is probably the best route to go. But on the flip side lets say I have spent a fair amount of time and money on marketing AdvancedDivingBoardDesign.com and it has good traffic, quality backlinks, and high PR. What advantage would I have to switch to ADBD.com ? I am not being a nay-sayer but its just a thought.

What I like about LLLL.com's is the length. With the uprising of mobile devices accessing the web 4 char length domains are perfect for this platform.

Just my opionion.

Sure you have it established, but why not own both and use a 301 redirect?
That way you can tell your customers ADBD.com, which is way easier for them to remember

Sure....but you definitely want to 301 to avoid duplicate content issues.
