So what makes someone a known quantity on NP?

Don't ruffle your feathers about my question. I am just curious. I have noticed a few members with fewer sales, fewer post and shorter membership periods than my "few months" of membership are not listed as "unknown quantities". So, I just wanted to know from you guys what makes someone a "known quantity?" :?

Hi mate, it's based on reputation points which are what you get when someone likes a comment of yours and clicks the button to the right of the green circular light under your username or you have a successful purchase/sale/trade with another Namepros member and they leave you a positive feedback rating (+10 rep).

Based on you having 2 green bars, it shouldn't say that you're an unknown quantity, however that appears to be a small glitch Namepros has at present. It should be reset to normal with a few more rep points.

More info here: http://www.namepros.com/faq.php?faq=namepros#faq_rep_system :)

it's just about a combination of everything, a little here a little there pretty sums it up.
- the longer they stay here committed and regular.
- the number of posts and posts per day
- the number of referrals
- the number of trader ratings
- the number of reputations
- the number of people helped - newbie/regulars/and everyone

a totality of the above and much, much more.

it's like post like there's no tomorrow for me, since that when tomorrow comes, it will also be called today.

if you take 1 line out of it, it won't complete the puzzle.
