So many Generic DN's and they don't even use them!

Hello, I was just checking out some generic DN's that are own by major corporations, and Im just curious. Why do they own so much DN's and don't do anything with them? Check out this site, it have a list of companies that own generic DN's.

The thing is that nobody else can do anything with them.
These companies, most of them industry leaders, truly get it.

Yeah, they lose some major traffic to non-resolving sites, but it's not going to their competitors site.

Okay I see, you're right a lot of these companies got the idea! It's just a shame that a lot of companies don't get it.
