As I understand it Gettag.mobi is a reader for squares of data that are like bar codes. You scan the code and see content on your smart phone such as more detailed sports stories on USA Today (which is happening) or a video on how to assemble that bicycle.

Microsoft owns Gettag.mobi.

So we may soon be seeing coded boxes all over the place with "gettag.mobi" printed on them --- to the consternation of Mobi doubters.

A few weeks ago when I was up at Wal-Mart, I seen the gettag.mobi being used on the Blu-Ray cover of the new JackAss 3D! This was the first time that I've seen it being used.

Pretty cool!
