Sniping Domain Names

There are some specific domain names I want that may end up as drops.

Released gTLDs I want but are registered:

keyword [dot] com
keyword [dot] net
keywordRadio [dot] com

Of the ones I want but are already registered, none of them are actually being used.

keyword [dot] com just redirects and looks like that is all it has done for years.
keyword [dot] net was used in early 00's but has been for sale for about 5+ years, seller asking an insane price.
keywordRadio [dot] com is parked at GoDaddy and has never been used, whois is domains by proxy.

What I am hoping to find is something that will send me e-mails as their registration expiration gets close so I can watch them to see if the owner screws up and forgets to pay the bill, so if they do, I can run a backorder on several different drop sites trying to grab it.

What is the best resource to do this?

When it comes to keeping an eye on domains you want to catch the way I go about it is through GoDaddy Backorder Service, they have a feature that allows you monitor a name. This is pretty cool as it sends you emails as to any changes that happen to this domain.

Just go to Godaddy.com and go to the section for backorder service just buy a credit and with this one credit you can monitor a name. https://www.godaddy.com/domainaddon/domain-backorders.aspx

Also just check on the date it will expire on whois. You can also contact the owner and see if he has no use for the domain then simply buy it from them directly.

keyword [dot] net has been for sale for about 5 years according to web archive, for $20k, which is ridiculous - no one pays that much for an undeveloped adult name. I think the original site failed and it was picked up as a drop and put up for sale at that insane price when it had a lot of traffic but with no content the traffic has vanished since then.

But with a 20k asking price, nothing I could offer them wouldn't be an insult.

keywordRadio [dot] com was registered on the same day at the same registry as otherkeywordRadio [dot] com that is in use and I would be competing with. I suspect someone doing something with keywordRadio [dot] com that competes with them is exactly why they registered it.

I don't know it is them, domains by proxy, but if it is I don't want to alert them I have plans to maybe run Internet Radio that competes with theirs. So getting it via drop is my best option.
