It may be a newbie question, but since I never used Snapnames, I don't know the answer.

Does Snap require a minimum bid for any domain? Afaik there was a minimum bid of $60 for all domains.

Recently someone told me he is acquiring domains for $30 and $40 through Snapnames. Is that possible?

The answer would help me a lot, since it is very important for me to know.

Minimum bid for a backorder (closed auctions): $60.
But there are names in the live auctions under $60.

You can plenty of domains for well under $20 in the live auctions. Depends what you're looking for in a domain.
