I know it used to be Netsol's policy to give a small cut of the expired auction profits to the original registrant. A couple years back I got a check in the mail for $30 or so just for letting a LNN.net expire. Does anybody know if they still do this? A bunch of my expired names already have 5+ bids on NameJet, and I'm wondering if I should renew/transfer them or just let the checks roll in.

I called both Netsol and NameJet, and each told me to ask the other about it instead.

Five bids? If the highest bid is, well, high, you might want to think about renewing.

If they're all at the lowest possible bid amount, I suppose it depends on the desireability of the domain itself.

They're all for the minimum $69 so far. Usually all the bidding action happens at the last minute unless it's an amazing name.

I guess my real question is, does anybody know if Netsol still mails checks to ex-registrants?
