Snapnames Nightmare

Wondering if anyone else is having problems with Snapnames recently with regards to domains won at auctions.

Three weeks ago I won a domain at action which I still have no access to because the domain registrar is yet to send details. I've contacted customer services and all they can say is that they are working to resolve it!

I won another domain on Friday, still no details from the registrar whose website is in Spanish.

Seems every time you win an auction your acquire a new registrar which makes it difficult to manage your domains.

this does happen unfortunately. Make sure you have your account default nameservers set correctly and it shouldn't matter as much- some of the registrar's that they use are very slow to forward details on to snapnames I think. Can you access them through manage.snapnames.com yet?

I can't because the register is leadnetworks.com and other is a hosting company in Brazil

Bummer, I have had loads from Snapnames with no problems so far, not much you can do if you've already contacted snapnames

I'm sure they'll work it out for you eventually, have you tried contacting the new registers to explain ? Maybe they can chase it up from their end ?

I've experienced these several times, and it's not really Snapnames' fault (it is to the degree they're responsible, but-) it's really on the registrar themselves. Some are great and send you info within a very few hours, while others take forever.

Snapnames support is pretty good (by industry standards). They will put some pressure on the registrar if you have brought it to their attention.

Be more selective on the domain names you back order If you back order domains that are with Partner registrars with Snap, you will know where they end up
