Snapnames down, but need to bid..???

So, what happens if Snapnames is down for the last hour of bidding for a name? It's down now and I can't get a bid in and there is only 25 minutes to go. The proper thing would be to extend the auction by one day. Let's hope they do the proper thing.

I saw someone else talking about it being down.

It's just not right if they don't extend the auction until tomorrow.

fyi, this post was noted in the other thread on Snapnames. Maybe one and the same, i don't know.

I am not sure but anyone heard of DOS attacts on a auction @ a site and the DOS stops suddenly 3 min before the auction ends and someone wins the bid real cheap? i dont want to specify the site but i have seen this many times at auctions whichhave a high value.

There's a problem at one of our hosting locations; it's being worked on. Auctions will be extended by at least an hour in order to accomodate anyone who wants to bid and is unable to at the current time.

I just got on now, and the auctions I needed to bid on are gone. When will you be putting them back on?

I would suggest just extend them by exactly 24 hours to be fair.

This is just plain weired

First of all snapnames added an extra 2 hrs onto the auctions (which is understandable) 2 hrs later I then won the domain and it showed I had won the auction.

NOW - It shows that there is 2d 22h 47m to go on the same name ???? Looks like they have took this one back to the very beginning.

3 other names that I also backordered only show that about 2 hrs have been added to them.

WTF :yell: Something smells very bad here and I'm not too happy
