Snapnames - Bid retraction?

I was in an auction with halvarez, and it was just him and me a day ago, but now the auction is JUST ME. How did he disappear from the auction? I thought you couldn't retract a snapnames bid.

You could send their support an e-mail saying you had made a mistake and would like to retract. They will change it for you unless the circumstances are that you are in a large bidding war. If it's just you or one other person- they will retract the bid for you as an exception.

Support is great there.
