Snapnames auctions

Ok, I could be wrong here, but it appears to me that snapnames now allow people to join auctions for dropping names which have already started... can somebody confirm this?

It seems strange as I have been in auctions for names which are 'priority partner drops', where there has been only one or two bidders, yet the name is then featured in the snapnames emails for 'most active auctions' and more bidders seem able to join...


The strange thing is, I am often not able to join an auction because it has already started!!

that's correct for expiring names, once the auction starts nobody can join or watch....you have to be in it to win it

Maybe the domains they send you in their emails are for the live auctions where anyone can join in or watch ?

Yes, you cannot. They have a deadline time to join the auction. It's mostly 1/2 days before the actual auction.
