Look at those numbers.......230 million subscribers.......half a BILLION web page visitors a day.........all for a company most people in North America never heard of.

Mobi is a world wide extension. Obviously, the potential is mind boggling.

Sags

Top 500? It is #14 . It used to be in Top 5!
www.sina.com.cn is the portal. Not www.sina.com which is the company's homepage.

Oh... Good Christ... I'm one of those North Americans that's never heard of them, although I'm sure I'll be hearing a whole lot more about them on this forum with those kinds of numbers... More popular than ebay? All I can say is WOW :kickass:

This type of news just goes to show that .mobi has the potential to be king! Mobile devices are taking over the world and this little ext here could reign supreme over all others (including .com). Great news!

big agree Arnie...it's a big world...and not all companies have their heads up their ass like alot of US companies do...pardon my French...mobi could end up being a mass of niche sites with only one good niche needed to rocket the extension into the top 4 or 5 of all time...imho

No, your computer browser does it.

You're right, they don't have to. But they want to. Why? to give their 230 million customers worldwide the services they want and to keep that customer base. That is nearly the population of the entire US.

Show us an image of your cell phone with the same graphic.

What else you got?

But they did anyway. Look if you're trying to pull me into yet another fight, its not going to work. I have way more important things to worry about than your opinion on some domain extension. Save it for someone who actually cares about what you think.

So you're saying that they don't need the mobi but just regged it for the hell of it.
