But I own www.realestate.si (parked on SEDO). Domain is receiving a high volume traffic,
one day it will sell ...

Today I just checked domain, which I sold to Czech Republic company (eta .si), now is developed site. I mention it, because for example eta.es is forbidden name/domain - you cannot register this name

Primero, lo siento. As you can see, I speak a little Spanish. It means...first, I'm sorry. I'm not the best at either written or spoken Spanish but I know the basics.

I was a beginner like most people and I learned from my mistakes and I took on-board all of the constructive criticism and put it to good use.

I presumed, wrongly that what you had written in capitals was '.sl' and not '. si'. This, however makes no difference at the end of the day as there is still one piece of critical information that you may not have taken into consideration.

In Spanish (in Spain - not 100% sure about South America so you would need to confirm) the word 'si' means 'if' as there is no accent over the letter 'i', whereas the word 'sí' means 'yes' as there is an accent over the 'i'.

This is only a small difference in Spanish, but i the English speaking world it means two different things when literally translated, namely 'if' or 'yes'.

As you said yourself...And yes, I know it is not easy to sell Spanish domains.
I am doing this: "not because it is easy, but because it is hard" ...

My view is that it is hard to sell any domain and it is even more critical in my honest opinion when doing it in a foreign language that we do it in the correct manner.

Perhaps, you could seek further opinion from someone who uses Spanish (Spain) or Spanish (South America) as their first language.

I will showcase two examples:

- one is the most generic - live site dominios (.si) - registrant country is Spain, domain is registered since 2007
- in light of recent political situation in Spain it is interesting domain catalunya (.si) - registrant is from Spain
- there are many live sites, I just can't recall them now (perhaps later)

But yes, I am also keen to know, how others look on this - specially form South America!

I saw a big niche (and today are not many niches with premium KWs available) and I have time, will and resources for next 5 years to check if I am right or wrong

Also .io was not immediately startup niche ... some time and patience and we will see.
And yes, it is hard, if you are on unknown territory ...

I think you may need more information and/or confirmation from seasoned NP member whether they think that you have discovered an untapped niche and explore whether it is untapped for a very good reason.

How will you sell your domains and who will you sell them to? I have a few Spanish related domains myself as I hope to move to Spain in the future and I love everything about the culture, the people, the food and especially the weather.

Yes, that why domaining is interesting. Sometimes is just good if you repeat know patterns (as much as you can), sometimes you are on discovery travel.

Thanks for sharing! The only spanish word there is Favorecer, meaning to favor. The most applicable cunjugation is "favorece" when used in present tense. The others appear to be in Portuguese, which definitely sounds similar. I get them confused often while reading the drop.

I'd also classify comprimido azul as Spanish (and Portuguese at the same time it seems). Portuguese orthography is somewhat different. For example, the 4th term is comercialização actually - which indeed can be used as comercializacao.<anything> in domains

Not something I focus on, but here are my Spanish names (which came as part of a portfolio purchase):
SalioElSol.com - means 'The sun came out' or 'The sun came up'.
DecoracionDeBodas.com - means 'Wedding Decoration'.
HastaLaMuerte.com - I was told that it is Spanish for "to the bitter end", but a more accurate translation appears to be ‘to death’ or ‘to the death’.
