Inspired by @capiche 's sale (congratz by the way!) and @DomainBarracksRob idea for a showcase thread, I thought I would set one up.

I wouldn't call that a pattern.

Pattern = "the elements of a pattern repeat in a predictable manner"

Defi + Lab = $4499
Defi + Media = 2,500 Euro

Not sure about you kid but I see a pattern

The pattern might be L, M, next one is N?

Defi + keyword can't be considered a pattern, because of the many names that didn't sell yet.

Cloud + Keyword.com
VR + Keyword.com
Robot + Keyword.com
CBD + Keyword.com
Crypto + Keyword.com

Although there will be sales of Keyword+DeFi , the ones popping up at the minute are DeFi+Keyword, like with all good domains the best ones go first! So if you are in the buying market as a domainer, I would buy DeFi+Keyword as a priority! Just my opinion.

Thanks for the explanation. I was hoping that when you said "pattern", you found a way to successfully predict future sales. Of course lots of Defi + keyword combinations can be created, it's happening all the time in any niche. Lots of them are waiting for a sale.

I just want to be sure that your pattern is not to broad for newcomers.

All the best Defi + keywords are long gone - people will need to get them on the aftermarket

Also Defi Media is a bit of a steal imo - good purchase for the buyer - but still a nice reported sale for the seller and good to see.....

I don't see a pattern per se..no question "Defi" specifically is about as hot as you can get niche-wise.

I see two of the best possible Defi+keyword .com's selling for cheap.

Both names have 10x+ potential from those sales prices, so I'm not overly excited about these recent sales. Pretty weak (for now) imo

Interest is still strong in DeFi+Keyword. This is my inbox for the past several days. I received a few $x,xxx offers.. just not enough to sell those particular names.

It was for 2 different DeFi+keyword domains. 1 hand reg and 1 aftermarket.

I dont think ending in .com is very important for defi. I see more non .com names being used for these projects.

Probably because they can't afford a good name, then they usually turn to a lesser name.
