I know there are fair few people on here investing in 5 letter brandable .com domains, including myself. :hehe:

Really Good Short Brandable domains are a rarity. IMHO these domains will have a higher profit margin for resellers, than 4L.coms that make no sense other than for use as an acronym for a company. Some may disagree. :hehe:

The only problem here is of course finding the end user for such domains. I will be shortly releasing a new site that focuses on selling brandable 5 Letter domains (with a subscriber list including many investors), that any one may list their domains on for free, so stay tuned i'll post about it later when its up.

You can't pronounce MDDVD but is it still valuable as an acronym?

I don't know of any such acronym but it could be something related to a DVD, such as 'mega density DVD'. Is the lack of vowels a killer?

Any thoughts on this?

Hi dhyane,

my honest opinion about ZOBBZ is that its not good at all. The affiliation you are trying to connect between zobbz and jobs is far-fetched and i am afraid no one else will see any potential in this name. It has 3 combined Value-Killing factors:

- Z instead of J at the start (replacable with any letter? thats why WOBBZ, POBBZ, etc. are all available)
- 2 Bs instead of one B
- Z instead of S at the end

All these factors together destroy the value. Now if you only had one alteration (like JOBBS or even two like JOBBZ, people could still see the affiliation to JOBS). It is much more difficult to find brandable names than simply register anything which is somehow a little pronounceable. Look for past sales of 5 and 6 letter names at sites like Namebio.com and you will get an idea which type of names (could) have potential. Sorry this one is really bad. Grace delete if you can.
