Hi DN folks,

As some of you are aware Amazon launched .BOT Domain for Artificial Intelligence and yesterday was the General Availability day.
Did you catch some nice ones or did you pass this opportunity?

I was tempted to try it, there are most single names priced as premium.

I have just two DNs:

AIRO.BOT
AIChat.Bot

Well, then why are other country codes available as premium $600 registrations? E.g. de.bot, fr.bot, es.bot
However, us.bot is $3k and it.bot is reserved. Nope, I think Amazon just kept ro.bot for themselves.

That's certainly interesting, thanks. Don't know why they don't seem to follow ICANN terms.

This is what the .bot registry itself writes about this, in their .BOT Registration Policy:

“Two-Letter Code” means a letter/letter two-character ASCII label at the second level which​

corresponds to a two-letter country code as specified in the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 standard.​

and​

We will take reasonable steps to investigate and respond to any reports from governmental​

agencies and ccTLD operators of conduct that is alleged to cause confusion with the​

corresponding country code in connection with the use of a Two-Letter Code. In responding to​

such reports, we are not required to take any action in contravention of applicable law. We​

reserve the right, but do not assume the obligation, to temporarily or permanently deny,​

suspend, or cancel any .BOT Domain Name after such investigation.​

I took a look at .BOT domains for sale on Dan
TopDomains has the best roster of keyword .bot names, hands down, well over 50
Then the marketing company LaunchDigital ---- looks like they picked up dozens of one word gems perfect for the extension
