I have one or two hemp clothing names, I grabbed Hempaca.com in case they make a new material made out of hemp and alpaca. Someone has done it, but it is by no means “out there” as a new material. But alpaca is awesome, it would make an amazing fabric.
Mostly though I grabbed brandable names around new hemp materials, like building materials, names like hempite, hempene, hempcreet, few others. I think I still have some hempcrete names too... @McDuke you still holding any hempcrete names.

For those that don't know..hemp don't get you high (real low THC) unless you are a "light weight" !!!

I've financed via Epik as both buyer and seller. So easy. Would love to have a bunch of these deals going! I'm about 8 months into a $5k sale that's being paid off $100/month. Yes, that's a 4+ year deal (!!) but it's the only way the buyer was going to spend $5k. For them, $100/month is manageable (and they have it set to auto-pay via cc), and I'm happy to have the money deposited into my Epik account every month (which I can cash out for free as a NP member). Of course, the buyer could stop paying anytime, and the domain would go back to my account and I would keep all funds paid. Fee for this type of deal is 9%, which to me is worth it for the pure convenience. (Unfortunately the 5% rate I'm locked into for that deal was raised this year to 9%)

Feel free to email if you have any questions.

So a deal you entered into with Epik with a (locked into) 5% rate, was raised to 9% in the middle of the deal??? 'If'...this is so, it furthers validates what so many are saying about the 'owner' there.

No- as I said, I'm locked into the 5% rate for the next ~4 years with that deal.
For new deals, the rate is now 9%. All depends when the deal was reached.

On a related note, Rob has been very helpful whenever I've had a question for him, and Epik has been an excellent platform for me. No complaints here, and I've yet to hear about legitimate issues with Epik's platform.

Yeah my deal is dissolving. I’m going to try the $100 a month with no deposit. Right now they are saying no to $1000 deposit and $125 a month even though they initially offered $1500. I’m in no hurry to sell the name. I can sit.

Endusers pay. Resellers ( brokers ) will pay around $300 bucks.

The notion that any legitimate Cannabis business needs too borrow money for a domain is reduculious. They have money and alot. Just a few lights as a grower or hours on a legal bill is a domain. A extracting system is 10s of thousands. A cone filling machine 15 grand. A trimmer 6 grand or more
Some craft markets are evolving, these are small players not yet in play in most situations. Currently most everyone out there has substantial funding. Hard too loose these days.

If a enduser can find you, and wants the brand. They will pay if they see it as a important part of their business model.

I'd be suspect of anyone on a payment plan for a Cannabis domain.

Now if they are looking for a domain before they get a permitt, absolutely find a way. Look at the state their in, and ask about where they are in the pernitting process. And then make a more educated decision.

I work near 5 pot shops within 2 blocks (at least 5 shops). These are small places and obviously don't have tons of money... some more than others. There will be some people who pour their savings into their shop and don't have enough money to spend thousands on a decent domain. Offering up a payment plan is a great way to get them the domain that they want, at a price that they can afford. Setting up shop is not a cheap thing...especially when banks are hesitant to loan money due to the federal issues.

For every 1 big company with deep pockets there are probably 50-100 small companies with limited budgets and limited knowledge as to the importance of a domain. A $4000 sale from a $1 promo and two year hold is absolutely ridiculous roi. If these little guys need some financial assistance, similar to the credit card in your wallet, I got no problem being nice and getting paid slow.
You do realize if they miss payments they forfeit the domain back right?

Pretty certain you will be financing names too, or missing out on sales.

Did I mention it’s for a .co.uk? It would have been a solid sale indeed my man but it won’t likely stick so it’s a moooot point, said the cow.

local tld's will prove lucrative to local markets in my opinion. .com is a North America thing. not one local business to me use's .com all use local tld.

I’ve done 2 finance deals where both cannabis companies had millions in funding. It’s really a matter of where they want to put their money and at what rate.

I dunno, maybe he just means that this innocuous plant can deliver 10,000 beneficial uses for humankind.
Some people just never get over the awesome properties of industrial hemp. It's all good....
