I've noticed the increase too, and decided to bid on some CVCV.com names at SnapNames. My bids for Sefu.com quickly got taken over, and someone grabbed it for $825 (which I think is a great deal).

Admins get more details like location / Ip address / mail address used etc which can be used to confirm.

Further, no one uses human beings to spam these days. Bots are cheaper.
