I have been thinking about this for a while now...
actually a coupla years.

All great keyword .tv's are pretty much gone.
Even all great 2-worders are pretty much gone now.

I know "Keyword 24" and "Keyword 360" has been kinda hot.
I believe Casino24 just sold for over 1.5K

I do own a couple of "my keyword" .tv's.
I just saw a nice sale by one of our own members here - Cate.tv for the sale of MyShoes, and to an end-user which makes that sale extra special.

I have been thinking of grabbing a couple of "i keyword" .tv's

I know Hans was on a cool brandable kick using "z" at the end of his keyword .tv's. I have actually thiought about this but haven't pulled the triger on any "z" plural .tv's as of yet.

IMO one should be pretty strict with .TV regs as if you look at SEDO's domain sales reports .TV wasn't even on the report (should have at least made the list but...). While finding quality .COM domains amongst the thousands of #@$%^&*! drops is almost a waste of time, until I see some turnover in inventory, no brandable .TVs for me.

dont you find you can still get tv keyword cheaply just with a few emails to the holders....saying that i do have a few channel names but i do think now thats a bit like going backwards in dot tv.

really? i havnt check my million term lists lately. i bet a lot of whats taken will be dropped again soon. these times are just to tough to be holding on to expensive regs in hopes of a modest payoff. better to drop and rebuy down the road.

my outlook used to be a few years for .tv but now it feels more like a decade kinda thing.

Well you seem to be one of the best and most well rounded tv-ers here Garp. It seems like you grab some relative tv keywords and Geos, and do your very best at developing them and trying to monetize your tv's better than most of us here. That is very commendable.

As for the brandables, I see you don't really care for them and thats cool, just keep doing what you're doing and hopefully you are making some decent money and having a solid success rate at your non-brandables.

I always read your posts to see how you are monetizing your domains.

I do approach many keyword tv holders and make offers and it seems the pricing has went up by 100x or so in the past 6 months. Hopefully that is a good thing and we continue to see some great tv sales...???

As for channel tv domains, I am glad you brought them up. I forgot all about them. I believe I only have one of them Nature Channel and I am not seeing any action with channel tv's at all lately. Not sure that has been a great investment within the last year or so.

I agree. I do think a lot of these tv's we have seen regged in the past 6 months or so will be dropped. I hope I am wrong, (with the price of renewals only being about $20...who knows)

AS for the keyword 24's and 360's...I know, It does seem to be a bit of a stretch. I think the only reason I threw those 2 examples in there is because of that incredible few week old reg, (Casino24) which sold for so damn high.

I keep scanning Premium lists and with some of the re-priced Premiums still on the lists, I am thinking that is the best bang for our buck so that is where most of my $ has been going.
