Hi Domainers,

I found a 2 words .com domain name available with the following statistics:

Should I register it ?

Thanks in advance

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Check similar names, check domain history if there is any, what context those words appears in search results?, right words order? positive meaning? you should do it yourself. Or roll the dice for $9.

You could register it at Namesilo. Then post it for appraisal.

If responses are bad, you have 3 days in which to cancel your order at Namesilo and get a refund. You will still have to pay the 0.18c fee mind you.

There is a limit to how many times you can do this with Namesilo so I don't recommend doing it too often.

Based on only the above, no.

Here's an example:
MarksTwain.com
Search: 110,000
CPC: 1.45
Competition: 0
Would you register that ? Not me.

You gotta reg it, then ask for appraisel or opinion by posting the name.

Got it ,but Marks Twain has no meaning. My 2 words do have a meaning.

But you are putting those other numbers up for us to evaluate. My point is that those numbers mean nothing if you look at the domain I showed. The search, CPC and Competition for my name is wrong, nobody is searching for that name, yet those are the numbers published.

Go on, buy your domain, put it up for apparaisal.

Good luck....

The problem with these domain metric tools is that they're shit. Especially their search metrics.

Marks Twain has no searches (or very few), yet the tool thinks that marks twain = mark twain. Similarly, when you see domains like yutube.com, estibot and the other shitty tools think those terms have billions of searches.

My best guess (due to the 0 competition) is that your domain is a misspell or grammatically incorrect version of a term.

I think the competition is 0 because there is no product or service we can sell using these words.

0 competition means that NO ONE is advertising under that keyword, which is never a good sign. It is a sign of a useless keyword.

You are right, but we can use those kind of words for adsense websites since there is a lot of research on them.

That's my point, there isn't. The tools are wrong. Yutube doesn't have a hundred billion searches (made up number). Youtube does.

Marks twain doesn't have 110,000 searches. Mark twain does. Marks twain probably has like single digit or double digit searches pee month at best.

You will never find a highly searched keyword with no competition because why would you?

Too many type in one word and think it is gold.
EG: CRAPPORN nobody is going to search for it the million porn searches won't help one bit.

About 155,000,000
Search results aren't as what you think.
eg: Highly Searched: fastest bike receives over 1,300 searches per month on Google®
google search results show
About 309,000,000 results (0.61 seconds)

1300 isn't 309 million. Harder still to get anything ranked with that many results.
1300 people looking and 309 million pages trying to get their attention.

Rule 34 says that one will probably get at least a few people searching for it.

Chrome extention : Keywords Everywhere

I use the same and I am wondering if those number are accurate in any way, and how to tell if they are/are not accurate... Thanks.

You can find more better names if you research further, just my opinion.
