Should I list my domains on multiple locations??

I have 2 domains I want to sell, I am brand new and don't expect much (or make any profit at all) for them but that is ok, I just want the experience, with that said, I have one on sedo and just went with their recommended price at a fixed price (based on my reading here, it will never sell at $399!!). I haven't listed the other yet, just got it yesterday.

So my questions are should I list at multiple places, like sedo, godaddy, ebay and others...or just stick to one?

And if I do list at multiple places then should I keep the same price at all of them?

And last should I list as auction or fixed price or make offer, like I said I don't expect to make any profit....but I know sedo has a min $50.00 fee so I feel I should list at least 60.00.

Not sure if I should mention the names..but one is in the appraisal thread;)

More markets equals more publicity and ya never know where a possible buyer shops so it increases your odds. Would definitely do at least Sedo & GoDaddy as a lot of eyeballs are there. Fixed prices will probably increase sales probability but better for low priced domains. Gems that receive multiple offers a month I leave at make offer as there is no shortage of offers on them so don't like to tie myself to a price.

So right now I have one at sedo at their recommended price of 399.00. Should I put on godaddy for same price? I doubt it will sell but I could wait a few months then lower it?? I think my main question is should the pricing be the same on both sites???

Well you know your names and their value.
Until March what is listed on sedo will automatically appear on GoDaddy too ( same price ); after that timeline you will have to have them listed on afternic to able to see them on GoDaddy too.

Firstly, all automatic appraisals are useless. Secondly you should definitely add GoDaddy to your selling venues. If you are selling at fixed price, then of course they should be the same (but you might price them differently to take care of any difference in sales commissions).

The biggest problem I see here is you have no idea how to value your domains. That is your biggest problem, imho.

You can say that again Stub.... I believe this is the single most important issue for all of us new in domaining

*I'm more talking about myself and new domainers here in general, no disrespect intended to the OP as I don't really know his/her appraisal abilities

Well I wasn't sure I should repeat the domains but they are

loans low credit score dot com

But really I just want to go through the whole process, I only paid $3 something for 1st one and $10.00 for 2nd one. But as I type I guess even doubling my money is ok to start.

Personally, I don't think these domains have any value. But if you developed the first one with useful content, it might have some value. The second one doesn't even make any sense for me. For me. I'd auction them off here on NamePros, starting at free. I think you have a lot to learn about domaining. A tad of a surprise since you've been a member here since 2005. I'm not trying to make any enemies here, I'm just trying to give you the bare facts, as I see them. I don't claim to be an expert myself.
