I would say my one (http://danielchorley.co.uk) would be medium

My longest is http://www.developercentral.info and it is used for my Radio NamePros podcast. :D

But even at their length I still they they have some great potential to make some money.

Good question - for me it would be...

Short domain name: 1-6
Medium domain name: 6-12
Long domain name: 13-16
Superlong domain name: >16

My longest is ilasvegasrealestate......which is 19

If the length is anywhere from 1 to 12 for me it is good - but obviously some names you just can't make them shorter and expect them to be as affective.

for eg: clevelandrealestate.com (19)

For a brandable name I would say they would be better kept under 8 letters

The length of the domain isn't that important if it's a good keyword (a good example of this is the word snowboarding).
