Short domains with - In them

I have found a few good domains but they have - in them. These are LLL and LLLL .coms are they worthless with the - or hold some value still?

Now to answer your question, if the price is reasonable, do buy them and hold on.
Reseller price, not end user.

Interesting fact - in German speaking countries, domains with dashes are apparently preferred for increased readability. In the U.S. they are frowned upon, Americans prefer domains without any word delimiters.

Cultural differences...

For example, Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz is a German dictionary word. I guess that's why they prefer dashes. English is so much easier.
