The median sale at Afternic (mostly .COM) is ~$1200 and at SEDO just over $500 (also mostly .COM) and yet someone sells a .TV for $18K (how many standard deviations from the median is that???) and the anti-.TV crowd still can't see how that is good news. Amazing....

The logic doesn't make much sense in my view. The average afternic and sedo sale is for very low quality names (flukey sales).

Secondly who said this wasn't good news? It is great news in my view.

All I'm seeing above is a whole bunch of "Congratulations" and "Good Lucks", so unsure who is stating it is anything other than good news; as long as the Sedo bid(s) / sale is fully completed and, ideally, the "winning" bidder is an End user with unique & compelling .TV development plans, IMHO. :gl:
