Considering all the discussion about Sex.TV, the research EQ did, and the debate on TV.TV I've been thinking a-lot about SexTV.TV and if the asking price makes sense or not.

The person who owns SexTV.TV has a price tag of $150,000 for it.
I have emailed this person and confirmed that they are only accepting offers over $100,000

Who here thinks this price for SexTV.TV is valid, over priced, or under priced?

Obviously the word "Sex" is one of the top keywords in domaining, so in a sense this could be the holy grail of TV.TV and all other keywords fall in place below it.

What would you value SexTV.TV at?

Previously I parked them with an adsense enabled custom landing page with an inquiry form. Now I've parked them at Sedo.

TravelTV ,TV - 100 to 140 UV per month

This is just my personal opinion, but from a consumers point of view, I actually think that tv.tv is disgusting. I mean Dogstv.tv just looks awful. I think that those who register, but especially buy tv.tv domains are taking a humongous and awfully stupid risk.

ON the otherhand, keyword.tv is pure brilliance and the .tv domain is a superb domain to invest in.

dogs.tv is off the market and johntv owns it...i have asked him 3 times if he would ever sell it and same answer no, no, no.....even if i had worked out a payment plan with him, it would be one help of a purchase and expense wise.

so if porn.tv is over xxx, xxx then whats so wrong with grabbing porntv.tv and if they get developed porntv.tv will be a nice traffic name and revenue name.

Quick update:

PornTV.TV now has over 500 Uniques in the past 30 days, with a 25% CTR

Traffic seems to be increasing slowly on this name, pure type in.

I have not pumped anything up, I have only posted it on this forum, and a few others places for sale.

I always appreciate honest opinions, but here is the thing Jake,
When Ray and everyone started looking at tv.tv a while back, it was recognized as an affordable keyword alternative.

Quite a few people hand regged some gems, and then NewsTV.TV was then made a $1000 premium in response to this message board

I mean look at the affordable aspect:

For instance, I own DrugsTV.TV and DrugTV.TV

Drugs.TV is $50,000 per year, Drug.TV $10,000 per year.

TV.TV offers an affordable alternative which can still give you keyword branding.

thanks john lol....i am in the kiddy pool even with payment plans and what a nice name you own and dogs.tv! so i have dogstv.tv, nothing like dogs.tv which is prime land!

we can all go around and around on this again......i own stockstv.tv and stocks.tv is only 50k a year...there are probably 2 to 4 members in .tv forum that dont mind dropping that kind of money for development...now with me, i grabbed stockstv.tv, paid the 25 bucks vs 50k a year....

mindwrecker has porntv.tv and what a nice name. its justfied in his purchase price and etc...but thats my thought, others will disagree... is sextv.tv justified in the price-i would say a big fat NO
