FreeRevolution.net
Revolution is the new Nintendo system, would be good for a referral type site.

GameDevs.org
Game Developers.

BluRayBurners.net
Blu Ray disks have a possibilty of being the next DVD.

Think any are worth more than reg-value?
Thanks for any appraisals, will give rep. =D

FreeRevolution.net
That ones sure to increase in value once the new console is released. dot com would obviously have been better, but dot net isn't far behind in value so not any great loss there. I suggest you get a refferal type script loaded on there and promote it a little, get it indexed on google and other search engines so that once Revolution is released and people start searching - your site will rank nicely at the top.

as is now: low $xx - developed: low to mid $xxx

GameDevs.org
The dot org here suits fine. Game Developers Organisation - sounds about right. You could run a forum and resource site where poeople can talk about game dev's and suggest sites of use etc. The name is nice short and sweet. Something like this can be a lot of hard work but if developed and marketed properly - the potential is very high.

as is now: mid $xx - developed mid $xxx

BluRayBurners.net
This one could be worth a lot if BluRay really does take over the DVD - in which case you would be laughing your ass to the bank. Things like these are worth holding onto because you never know, if the technology takes off then you'll have a very nice domain on your hands. If it doesn't then you lose the reg fee I suppose. However, just leave it parked for now or even put a few resources/clippings up (maybe some rss) regarding the possible BluRay tech and see how it goes. The does sound brandable too.

undeveloped + right now: reg fee - low $xx
undeveloped + BluRay tech taking off: mid $xxx
developed + BluRay tech taking off: low $x,xxx ?? who knows!!

Thanks for the ideads/appraisals PS, I'll probably work on developing GameDevs, might turn it into a blog for me and some of my classmates(going to college for game developement) or use your idea.

Thanks again for the help.

I like your domains.
GameDevs.org the most - maybe mid xx.
However, blue ray has potential for mass growth - or tm issues.

do TM issues arise in all these situations?

As far as I know, there is a "fair use" clause of the trademark act, which allows mentioning the trademark in certain situations (like a writer of a book can mention it to make the scene more realistic, or when listing items for sale, one can mention the trademark of the items, etc.)

Don't really think I'd have any TM issues, Revolution could mean about anything, don't know of any companies named GameDevs(Please let me know if there is. =D). BluRayBurners possibly, but I don't think so.
