SERP Question

So i have a Limo website, i have it optimized etc. So if you Search the keyword "Toronto Airport Limo" On Google It displays on the 2nd page.

Now my question it, after this I have now added my website to 8 websites which are mine and my friends which range from PR ONE to PR FOUR, the question is, the SERP is still on the same place.

I have checked Linkdiagnoisis.com It does not detect those websites that my Website is getting Backlinked from.

So anyone want to put some input, i really want to be on the first page :kickass:

Make more then 500 links and then wait for some days to see the results. I think 500 backlinks will be enough for this scenario.

Thanks, I think I should have more then 500 Links As i purchased a submission to 1000 directories, and then purchased another one to 200 directories, and daily im adding to new directories i can find or link exchange programs. Thats why im asking once I add my website to another website the link does my website get affected right away. Yes or no?

Yes thats what i was wonderng but I read a few post people are debating saying that the results happens right away. Thats what I was wonderng I have added my website to the index of PR 1 and 3 and 5 websites and no change happened right away. So how can that be possible. Thats why i was worrying. :tri:

That is not true. It can't take effect right away.

The Search engine bots will take time in crawling that links and take them into consideration. The bots are not crawling the net in realtime.

nick is right, serps can take time and seo is no quick and easy task. you might be hearing stories of one or two websites getting affected right away, but that could be because they're way out in the front of the line, just happened to have their site crawled (and sites linking to them crawled), or maybe it didn't even have anything to do with their efforts and it was just an algorithm change!

also, linkdiagnosis is not accurate and i have yet to find a site that actually finds all the links (except for webmaster tools).

backlinkwatch.com was great. But that also required the links to be crawled

Last time I checked it. It was down.

As long as my common sense tells me It won't help :D

Otherwise everyone would have been linking to their beloved Google.com from their index page.

But well I am not an engineer of google so I can't be 100% correct.

I have also changed my anchor text from backlinks to Toronto Airport Limo, Will that make a difference, and will putting Toronto Airport Limo as my first word for the Tittle make a difference. And do dashes also make a difference thanks!

yes, both will make a difference (for the better).

the dashes don't serve any purpose other making it easier to read.
