.mobi SEO and Google for Dot Mobis

In terms of search engine optimization (SEO), Google is rankling more heavily now keywords in the domain name more than ever I have noticed..

I have domain name "keyword1keyword2.com" and now it is #1 in Google for those two keywords searched together without even any backlinks..

In the past, "backlinks" was the #1 criterion for keywords in Google ranking..

Now, with my keyword domains, I have risen to top 5 on some .coms without even hardly any backlinks..

With that said, there is a new Search Frontier developing.. When you type in Google.com on your PDA you get redirected to google.com/pda where there is a "mobile beta search" at the bottom for mobile sites.. now only if our Dot Mobis where more represented there.. surely in time I think it will be better for Dot Mobi sites there.. but can we make out today?

Implications? Maybe buying "keyword1keyword2" domain names that might even sound unusual together as a phrase but people might search together could give you a top ranking some day..

I have had very similar results. Most of my 2 keyword .coms are ranking #1 in Google when searched. They have been reaching #1 in the first 3-4 weeks of becoming live.

I'm hoping the my mobi's will do the same in the coming months, as most of them are 2 keyword mobi's. My first developed mobi will be live as soon as this evening. I'll be watching it's progress carefully as I have several more in the works.
