Selling your domain name using a press release

has anyone ever submitted a press release when selling a domain name? What press release service did u use and did you sell it? can u just submit press releases for selling your product?

That sounds like Advertising to me, which costs money. Unless it's a GEM, I think you would have to pay to do something like this.

Every domainer has tried this at some point. Usually folks don't get great results - I've had better ROI by advertising a developed mini-site and getting RPC-clicks.
