.tv Selling premium .TVs on TDNAM

Can anyone help, i have a couple of premium names for sale at tdnam and i am in negotiations on one of them at the moment.

I notice on TDNAM terms and conditions that upon buying a name on their platform that they renew the name for the buyer for 1 year, however as we all know they can not do this with premiums as they can only be regged at Enom.

Does this mean that any premium name sale on there will fall through as Godaddy can not register them?, can anyone help me out please?

Hmmm.....Good question, I also have a premium for sale there. I have turned down a couple of $xxxx offers recently...Now you got me wondering how this would have gone had I agreed to sell!

Bob I thought you were allowed to sell domains not at GoDaddy on TDNAM, why would they add a year ? You might have a domain and I would want the push to ENOM or Moniker or Fabulous. Odd for them to add not knowing what the buyer wants to do with the domain.

1 year is only added to expired auctions as far as I know. You HAVE TO or else it is still expired right....

Am I missing something?

I don't think it'll work out the way you want. I would call GD & ENOM asap before negotiating any further as I don't think the deal will go through seamlessly since it is a premium. Obviously your only choices to sell would be Afternic, SEDO, etc... or private sales. TDNAM makes things... tricky.

P.S. on a side note pageants.tv -searchingtv's old name expired and is on tdnam at the moment with 3 bids @ $171 8M 12S left!

I have emailed Tdnam/godaddy asking for some sort of confirmation either way with this. Received an incident ID from them indicating that I should have a reply within 24hrs. Will post their answer here as soon as I have it.

I was actually watching it live with my wife. I Decided that if it went higher than $500 I would redeem it. I know I let Utencils go and that sold for a few hundred dollars, but with so many names, I need to trim down mine and my companies portfolio.

But to see it get so high and not redeem it is like leaving money on the table IMO. Not good business sense.

I would still sell it for $700 or so, perhaps a bit less, but it is not always easy to find who the original bidders were. I did the same with washers.tv. I figure I could use the money more than GoDaddy

Tdnam makes domainers get an erection somehow

So I tried that with Washers.tv that went on TDNAM for like $700.00, then I put it up for $10.00 and it did not get even 1 bid. So I don't know if people only search for expired names or only names that have at least 1 bid on it.

isnt this crazy?
If you have a tv domain on auction here for $50 u might dont get any offer,
the same ****ing domain if it goes at tdnam expired will get hell lot more bids, even from the same people that saw it here and didnt send a bid.

Even if i get broke i wont let tdnam take money for my tv domains,i ll watch them get expired and if they go higher then $300 i get them back.

In a way, I can see why. When I look there, I tend to only look at the "expired" list. The main reason is that is where the bargains are.

Searching's example is on point, if you list it there for anything more then $5, it probably won't ever get a bid.
