Can anyone help, i have a couple of premium names for sale at tdnam and i am in negotiations on one of them at the moment.

I notice on TDNAM terms and conditions that upon buying a name on their platform that they renew the name for the buyer for 1 year, however as we all know they can not do this with premiums as they can only be regged at Enom.

Does this mean that any premium name sale on there will fall through as Godaddy can not register them?, can anyone help me out please?

Thanks

Ok here is what I sent and the final response.

Customer Inquiry
Hi,
I have a question that I hope someone there can answer.
TDNAM terms and conditions state that upon buying a name on their platform
that they renew the name for the buyer for 1 year through the Godaddy
registrar.
However they cannot do this with premiums (premiums being those that have a
yearly renewal fee that is set by Verisign and is higher that the standard
reg fee) as they can only be registered at Enom.
Does this mean that any premium .tv name that is sold on Tdnam will fall
through as Godaddy cannot register them?
Please respond ASAP as I currently have such a domain for sale with
yourselves that falls into this category and has received a number of offers.
I would not wish to be in a position that would not enable a sale to go
through after extensive negotiation.

Support Staff Response
Dear Sir/Madam,
From the email we received, I am under the impression you are not aware we are a .tv domain name registrar. These domains can be transferred or registered through us. TDNAM .tv negotiations are not effected by TDNAM auctions or listings due to being able to register or transfer away from us.
Please let me know if this does not answer your question. Also, reply with a domain you have listed on TDNAM so we are able to research your question more thoroughly.

From the response we received, we are under the impression you have no FREAKIN idea how premiums work.

Yet another example of the confusion created by premium renewals. Even Godaddy's "Advanced Technical Support Team" is clueless when it comes to premium renewals.

*A one-year renewal fee (from the domain's original expiration date) is added to the purchase of Expired Domains Auctions and Names from $15 domains. If an Expired Domain is reclaimed by the original registrant, the bidder is entitled to a full refund.

it doesnt say it is added or all names for sale- just to expired and 15.00- so, i am guessing they do NOt add the year to a regualr non-expiring sale. now that i think about it when i bought a name from a seller, i was put in touch with the seller i believe for transfer information.
