question Selling in Multiple Marketplaces At the Same Time

Hey Everyone,

In the past I have generally stuck to one platform at a time when selling domains. Usually SEDO/Forums/Parking Platform, but occasionally GD/Flippa/etc and I think I tried Afternic years ago.

What I am wondering is if anyone know if you can post a domain on multiple of these sites at a time without getting into terms of use issues (hoping somebody knows so I don't have to dig through pages of TOS trying to determine it). I would imagine it would be easy with "Make Offer" type listings since if you sold it, you could just refuse any other offer. But can you list it, say on SEDO, for $1000 and then also list it on Afternic or GoDaddy for $1000 without worry of getting into legal/TOS issues if you get two separate buyers from separate sites? I might be barking up the wrong tree, but just trying to increase the exposure on a few domains.

Let me know if anyone has any experience or thoughts with this.

You can list your names on as many websites as you like. What you cannot do is start live auctions at more than one place.

You cannot start a 30 day auction on Flippa while, running a 7 day public auction on Go Daddy.

You should be careful of buy it now listings, If you get an email your domain just sold, before celebrating, remove the name from everywhere else. You don't want to get into a potential legal situation or get an account closed.

If you stick to make offer listings, you won't have any problems. You could even have buy now at one venue. But I prefer to have all make offer listings everywhere. However, all these venues will tell you that you are more likely to conclude a sale with a buy now listing. It's your choice. But I prefer the exposure of multiple venues (just in case).
