It´s such a slow process, agreement was reached 02 Nov 2006, and I still haven´t received my money ? Why, because the buyer can´t figure out how to login and change the nameservers of the domain.

Is that my problem ?

I don´t have access to the domain anymore, so I should get my money.

I´m not selling though Sedo anymore - this sucks !!!!!!

Any comments are appreciated.

Thanks

You don't have access to the domain anymore?
Is that because you have handed it over to sedo?

Sedo made the transfer of the domain to the buyer, which now owns the domain.

But I still haven´t received my money !

Sedo always delievery money to me in 2nd or 3rd after I pushed the Domain to Sedo. You may need talk to Sedo to know what is the real status

The latest mail I received from my transfer agent is that the buyer has problems accessing the domain administration.

Surely the buyer should not be allowed to access the domain until you have been paid?
Poor show on Sedo's part otherwise.

Glad you agree, I feel that Sedo takes care of the buyer first.

My transfer agent told me that he will not release the money until the buyer can login and access the domain, but is it my problem that the buyer doesn´t know how to do this ? I hope this issue will be resolved asap.

I agree - none of this quite sounds right. I so prefer Escrow.com.

Looks weird

Sedo takes control of your domain (when you push it to their account and verify you gave them the control)

What is the problem of the buyer ?
Is it valid or expired domain ?

Ask for details about the problem. That's why sedo takes his cut

I believe in this case Sedo took care of the transfer for the client, there were some papers for me to sign and I returned them to Sedo. After that the transfer was complete and my old domain is now in the new owners name. It´s a valid danish domain.

If this is a .dk domain name:

Just forget about the registrar. Go to dk-hostmaster.dk (registry), use whois to find the registrants handle, request a pin code for the handle, log in with your handle and pin code. The registrar only handles the registration, you can set yourself as billing contact and pay renewal to the registry (40 DKK = 7 USD).

As for the nameservers: Again, forget about the registrar. Make sure your nameservers are correctly set up, go to http://www.dk-hostmaster.dk/index.php?id=199 (registry) and fill out form. Wait for DNS to reload.

I know this doesn't help you now but if the buyer can't access the domain at the registrar let Sedo know they can handle this at the registry.

For all who owns .dk domains - set yourself as billing contact and pay renewal to the registry.

central,

Exactly, I do know all this, but is it my problem that the buyer doesn´t ?

In any case, you explained it well, I will forward this to my transfer agent when he replies to my latest mail.

Thanks
