Here's what I was thinking, and I thought I'd run this past some pro domainers here.
It seems like everyone that's domaining is trying to hit a big score when they buy domains and selling for $xxx - $x,xxx+ seems to the goal.
I have quite a bit of experience running a sales team, so my thought process is to buy some reasonable, brandable geo domains, and try to sell them quick for $25-$200 per domain to business owners utilizing my sales reps.
Basically, I'd give them a 50% commission on any domain sales they make. I'd stock up on an inventory of domains initially and let them sell them for anything above my break-even point of $15ish.
Just fire up the predictive dialer with a business list and let 'em get after it.
Is anyone doing anything like this?
Any thoughts on why this would or would not work?
I figure if I could have my sales reps closing $2,000-$3,000 in domains weekly, it would make another nice passive income stream for me.
