Selling a package of domains to endusers

I have recently reg'd a domain that is a .com and pretty generic term. Upon doing more research of the phrase I found 8 other terms that are directly related to the phrase so I regd them all in .com.

I have been selling to endusers for a while now but have never sold more than 2 at a time. How do I go about selling 9, should I offer all 9 at first or wait to see if they are interested in the 1 key phrase or do I list them all in the initial email and sell them as a package?

Thanks.

From my limited experience I would suggest trying to sell one first and then try to get the buyer to buy the rest after the first deal has been satisfactorily concluded and a bit of trust / goodwill has been built up.

I have just sold a package of 18 names to an enduser who bought two to start with (I managed to upsell him on the second!) and wants more.

These customers are great as it is much easier to get them to buy provided the prices are kept reasonable.

Thanks David, I was thinking the same thing. Anyone else care to provide some insight?

Selling one name is hard enough. After you close the deal you can attempt to offer another domain or two which might be of interest to them. End users aren't domainers. Each domain to be of value will have to be developed unless it has meaningful traffic and is just forwarded to their current site.
