Selling a domain

Hey all, thanks for the help over in the appraisals area. I greatly appreciate the feedback on hayseed.com and it looks like my thoughts were right in line with it's actual value. Now the tough part, offing it! So is sedo (only know of it from researching these forums) the best place to go? I mean, like I said in that other post, there is a high level domain trader offering me money for it, but it's not anywhere near what it's true worth is...at least I know there is interest in it though. Where to start? Am I better off developing something to draw traffic before trying to sell?

Well welcome to namepros and Development will almost always net you more money for the domain name....but you can develop and list it on sedo at a later date that seems to work out for a lot of folks.

My suggestion develop the site and then go from there...but it also doesn't hurt to list on sedo as well hehe....mixed message i know ...sorry.

Well what I'm doing is develop some and sell when they get traffic and pr. But if I have a domain that I dont catch any idea on developing I just sell the domain. So far it worked for me, hope to get more in the future of course.
