How to determine popularity of a typo?

Is there anyway to determine how popular a typo domain is? Suppose I was looking to buy wwwdomain.com could I somehow find out how many times people mistakenly type that in their address bar before I purchase it? Otherwise this seems like it's just luck of the draw.

I use GoogleSuggest, Overture Keyword Checker, and WordTracker to see how often certain typos are searched for. However, there's really no way I know of to see how often somebody forgets to type in the "." in wwwdomain.com.
