OK with 2.5 Trillion in market cap recently, crypto is a big deal, it's owned by millions of investors and the biggest financial houses now chase it

So do you sell off your domain names and invest in crypto YES OR NO

To thank you for taking the poll

Here's $3000 in Free Crypto a new social coin use it to buy NFT Art Tokens and exit on major exchanges into fiat if you like

It's a POLL not some old thread from 2017

It's 2021

The question is

Do you sell your domain name assets to dump into crypto

YES or NO

IT's relevant that other thread is all old as the crust in some peoples drawers

You are already participating in that other thread with basically the same duplicate content.

Your argument is invalid. The other thread is still relevant and updated with new information almost daily.

It depends what kind if domains you own, if you own Casino dot com, you aren't going to get rid of that for crypto.

But if you own a shit load of hand regs i would understand the trade.

I personally don't understand crypto, so haven't invested. But from the things I've read on social media, crypto is the 'so called' currency of the people, it's a currency about taking control away from treasury/federal reserve and putting it into the people's hands, yet the ultimate end goal of just about everyone who invests in crypto is to be paid out in $£ so it seems quite contradictory :xf.confused:

Personally, have sold off crypto to invest in domains. Cryptos come and go, up and down like a yo-yo. Domains tend to weather the storms.

Eth

Too early, apparently. But that was kind of my point. What is it now, 35k?

It's a different mindset with domains anyway. I like the closure and satisfaction from selling domains, seeing them in action etc.

@HotKey I'm not being argumentative but why do you care what happens to a domain name once you've sold it?

Sell off domain names to invest in crypto

Not at this point in my opinion , not at a $700 Billion plus market cap for bitcoin and $1660 Billion plus market cap of all the cryptos. (just my opinion)
Everyone has his choice but it would be too insane on my part to invest at these valuations.

With 365 Trillion in world's total wealth
1.7 Trillion is nothing

If you understand the 365 Trillion needs to 100x fold to be enough to do real space travel with FTSOL tech development, then you realize, crypto is the asset that can grow global wealth to be big enough to do complicated stuff

Really mate, do you expect all that 365 trillion to go into crypto. $1.7 Trillion is more than enough for a system that is not regulated and well dispersed right now. And even if we go by what you say the returns that btc gave from $1 to $37000 are 37000x, whereas 365 trillion / 1.7 trillion is approx. 214. Clearly all the world's wealth will not go into crypto. And the returns people have seen so far are so huge they can never be matched.
My consciousness will not allow me to buy a crypto at these levels. I will rather use a digital currency pegged to a dollar for digital transactions rather than speculating on it. That is the true underline use case and that is what should be looked for. (just my opinion)

Actually the future of crypto is pegged to USD

Zero speculation
It creates wealth from human energy
Humans log into sites
Humans read articles on sites
Humans click links
Humans watch videos

Right now a parasitic model uses that energy to make a few tech elites wealth

fracti creates $30 every action
$10 to human creating the action
$10 to content creator
$10 to network

So fracti is a way for any human to generate $500 a day new wealth not replace wealth

If only 1 billion humans use fracti network instead of FB n YT

That's $500 billion a day new wealth
180 trillion year new wealth

That's half the wealth exists now

In 100 years fracti will have generated 18k trillion in wealth

Fracti will finance real space travel

Robots are coming

Your future job is making $150k fracti a year doing what you do now but don't get paid for

Future of crypto is peeged to USD which is stable. Not to the speculation. There will be massive reforms coming soon. Not to mention the POS transition for BTC which is POW right now and is draining energy like hell, and the backlash POS will bring from the miners investing in infrastructure at current mining hash rate and costs. BTC has no future unless it goes to POS or some other revolutionary solution comes along. This POW rally has run its course..... imo

Hmm fair question and I know your not being argumentative. I guess I would ask, you do not? Its a great feeling checking up on a domain I sold and seeing it fully developed and running a real business. It gives credence and certain tangibility to the rest of my investments, because it's how I envisioned them to begin with.

I can't get that with crypto, though the investment strategies are similar. But domains last the ages by holding their strength in the name, you can see what your dealing with and have certain control over its worth.
