Sell Domains to Universities

I did some research to find end-users for one of my domain names and see potential some Universities.

Did you ever sold a domain name to an university and do you think these are good end-users to sell to?

I could be mistaken but I think that they would prefer the .edu extension. I know I would if I had anything to do with higher education...

This uni has registered a .net for one of there studies. This way they promote and make people aware of the study.

The logo of the uni is in the top right corner of the website.

A few weeks ago a user here sold an LLLL.com to Stanford Uni for a lot of money. So if you have the right name there's no reason why you couldn't get a Uni to buy it off you. But the main difficulty with that would be to know who to contact in the first place.

A few weeks ago a user here sold an LLLL.com to Stanford Uni for a lot of money. So if you have the right name there's no reason why you couldn't get a Uni to buy it off you. But the main difficulty with that would be to know who to contact in the first place.

Uni's have marketing department like everyone else. I would research who in charge of marketing for the uni.It is now very competitive and they need to attract more students
