I just bought

SeekingNirvana.com

and

SeekNirvana.com

They are kind of long, but do you think they are worth more than RegFee?

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance

Hmmmmm

That's funny, when I registered it I didn't even think about the Band Nirvana, I was thinking along the lines of meditation... Bliss.... Etc.....

Thanks for your input.

Have a Great day

lol man
Nirvana is not a TM. Nirvana is a generic spiritual word taken from Asian religions (Hinduism and Buddhism precisely)

I like these names. They have minimum resale value (around low xx), but you could find an end user for them, especially because of this renewed interest in 'spiritual living'.

Thanks

Sashas - Thanks for your reply. That is kind of what I was thinking... I was even thinking of some sort of online "Head" shop for '60's types of gifts etc...

Thanks again

If you could stick some kind of new age/herbal remedies/essential oils/relaxation music shop front on it you could be onto something.

$reg fee at present but certainly has potential!

Thanks

Thanks for everybodies input. I appreciate you taking the time to answer.

johname - I did a limited Trademark search and there are well over 50 entires in the Trademark listing for "Nirvana" some have other associated words.

I am not a lawyer so I have no idea what that is really telling me or what my issues would be with the domain name but I do appreciate your comments and insight and will check further into this. Thanks again for the heads up.

Thanks to all

how can somebody trademark the word "nirvana"? It may say that its trademarked but that wouldnt hold up in any court and nobody would be that stupid to try to sue someone for using the word. Thats just like saying you cant use the word "ocean" for a business because its trademarked or "monk" because there happens to be a tv show called that.

hi cjbay,

Just ask your question in the legal thread and listen to some comments of our really "TM seasoned", fellow NP member DNQuest and he might enlighten you about that.....it is far more complicated, believe me(just for example LG came out with a cellphone named "chocolate" and they have a TM on it)
Or think about Apple...and other big wigs....it comes all down to usage, but it is possible to TM a generic....

Just my 2 cents....

Cheers

Frank
