Hello I`m trying to find a list of all terms in English , Spanish , German , Dutch , Italian , French , Portuguese .

All I found so far , are dictionary lists with the definitions while I just need the words like this:

portuguese is here:

- apple -> maçã (IDN); maca (without the accent and without the symbol under the letter "C" means stretch)... a 4 premium CVCV :lol:

- apples -> maçãs (just add the letter "S"; the same happens about the word "macas")

- army -> exército (IDN)

- at -> the best translation is "em"

- bread -> pão (IDN)

- bubble -> bolha

Hi Bricio, thanks for the reply but this is not what I meant.

I just wrote few words for example , but I need ALL the existing words of a dictionary........like hundreds of thousands of terms.

Also, since I got a PM from someone looking to sell me a one word .com : No, I am buying dictionary .com ! My English must be really bad :td:

couldnt you translate many words from italian or english to those languages you want just remembering them?
i know there are thousand of words but you could start your own list and translate some of day everyday
i really dont know where you could have a list of terms than a(n) (online) dictionary

yes I could but indeed.....thousands.... :'(

I googled a while then I thought that someone must have them to compile those "dictionary .com lists that sells on ebay with the worst terms", I just need the whole list of all names including the non available ones :)

How about just the nouns without the IDNs - or a seperate list of IDNs?

Lorenzo I have been thinking the same thing for two days, probably for the same reason.

without the IDNs but with verbs, adjectives, anything...

I can`t believe there is not one downloadable list on the net......without the meanings. :'(

I remember other members asking for such a list before. I'm pretty sure anyone with such a list will surely blast whois servers checking their availability, so it's best if you compile such a list yourself :imho:

Hi Smith, sorry...moby who?
http://www.dcs.shef.ac.uk/research/ilash/Moby/

also "wordnet" is an excellent tool for tracing semantic links between English language words - used by linguistics researchers, there are even several programmable APIs ->

http://wordnet.princeton.edu/links#semantic

and on that page there are also links to a few multilingual "wordnet" projects ->
http://multiwordnet.itc.it/english/home.php

http://www.gittens.nl/topics/SemanticNetworks.html

also see -> http://www.globalwordnet.org/gwa/wordnet_table.htm

enjoy ... :)

You need a free spell checker for these languages. It would include a list of terms.
