Upgrades.com was probably a reseller purchase given the very low price, it is a real bargain!
This domain is worth mid 6 figures USD to low 7 figures USD(end user).

The buyer could have paid the 2.5% of the gross selling price to enable Optional confidentiality so the sale of the domain name and its price will not be published.
I find it useful if the purchase is an investment since future buyers may search and find the sale price quite easily.
